I attempted to merge these threads but I accidentally merged a couple of posts together. Sorry about that. The threads are, however, now merged.

If it is real, its not a normal internet connection.
There are a few fiber networks in Scandinavia that offers 200-400, but not right below 1K

Try switching to BT Infinity if/when you can. I've had Virgin Media, Sky and BT and from my experience, BT has been the best in terms of ping and stable speeds

Thanks man, I will do once I'm living on my own, at the moment I'm in a student house so I don't really have too much say in it.

Yeah most places with fiber in sweden are cabable on even more then 1Gbit.

i have built 1GBit networks all around sweden. the networks themself (atleast where i have been) can handle way more its just the electronics which are limited to 1GBit (both the sticks in the switches/switches and home devices).
Some networks have been built by sucky companies and cant even reach 100mbit stable, sadly thats what happens when people hire companies by price instead of quality. worst i have found had 15DB on a length of 2km.. should have maximum 1.5 if you count it high, weird it even works:wtf:

I can technically get 1000 / 1000 where i live now, i just dont want to pay ~120€ / month, I might be switching to a 100/100 connection though. It took them about 3 months to install fiber.

    Older test, still same connection

    Lel i could've gotten one for 1gbit connection + unlimited calls(landline) for 30eur a month.
