    Install DirectX 9 and VMWare tools.
    Win 7 is highly recommended on VM.

    You need to enable 3d and something to do with your mouse, add the following to the configuration (.vmx) file for the virtual machine:
    mks.enable3d = TRUE
    vmmouse.present = FALSE
    and turn off ungrabbing for vmouse.present:

    a. Choose Edit > Preferences.

    b. Click Input.

    c. Deselect Ungrab when cursor leaves window.

    In latest versions you've to just tick: Enable 3D or something like that.

    That is correct ^^ , does this also disable vmmouse.present?

    u can image VMware just as an emulator like u maybe know for gameboy.. but u emulate a complete OS with it means u can run Windows twice or more on 1 pc .. so if u get urself vmware u can bot 2 chars @ the sam time

    Vmware 7.1.1 so 3d enabled in options...
    now codes... (I don't changed...)
    mks.enable3d = "TRUE"
    svga.autodetect = "TRUE"
    svga.vramSize = "134217728"

    I write:
    vmmouse.present = FALSE

    Vmware tools: 8.4.3

    as i sade in the post above change those

    svga.AutoDetect = "FALSE" and svga.vramSize = "67108864"

    134217728 = 128mb and maple gives white screen when it is not 64MB (which is 67108864)

    VMWare doesnt let Maple run when the Gues OS is WinXP.
    I tried many possibilities with XP, nothing worked.
    When I tried Win7 as Host everything went fine.
    So try that.
